6 posts, 6 entirely different reasons

Hi Reader,

People tell me all the time that I'm "everywhere" on LinkedIn.

It always makes me laugh a little, because I post maybe 3-4 times a week and spend about 30-60 minutes a day on here. (Which, for a LinkedIn person, is honestly probably too little.)
So why does it feel like I'm “everywhere”?

It’s not because I'm posting constantly or gaming the algorithm. I'm "everywhere" because I'm off doing the actual work, having real conversations, and those conversations turn into real opportunities.

Let me show you what I mean.

Last week alone, I got tagged in six different posts, for six completely different reasons:

→ Janelle, from my first cohort shared how our work helped her figure out how to show up on LinkedIn as the real her.

→ Jeff gave me a shout-out because my guidance we'd worked through in the DMs led to over $100k in new business for him.

→ Daniel featured me as a contributor in the launch of his brand new magazine, Visionary Magazine.

→ Natalie quoted my thought leadership on the trust recession in her own post.

→ Ionna interviewed and featured me as a full chapter in her new book, CEO Energy.

→ Tara, a current cohort member, reposted my content, saying how much she loves the program and that I give tangible, no-BS ways to grow your business.

(and to not be completely overkill and hyperlink all the posts in here, I put them in this doc if you want to peak at any! Gotta show them receipts! ; )

Six posts. One week. And I didn't ask for a single one of them.

I'm not sharing this to brag (you know me!). I'm sharing it because it's the clearest example I have of what actually works on here.

None of this came from chasing likes or impressions or trying to go viral. It came from doing the work, showing up in real conversations, and letting the results speak for themselves.

That's a completely different game than the one most of us are stuck playing, refreshing our analytics and wondering why the numbers aren't moving.

And the thread running through every single one of those six moments: LinkedIn is where I met these people, or where the relationship deepened. But the actual magic happened off the platform - in DMs, on calls, in real work together.

That's what I mean when I say get on LinkedIn to get off LinkedIn.

So if you're sitting there wanting to be more "visible," what I've learned:

Visibility on its own isn't the goal. Yes, I show up intentionally. I post, I've built a profile that actually sounds like me, I'm thoughtful about how and where I am. That part’s important.

But the reason it turns into columns in magazines, book chapters and $100k conversations? It's what happens alongside it: the real conversations, the comments, the DMs, the communities, the work I do with people OFF the platform.

The visibility gets people to notice you. The relationships are what make them tag you, quote you, hire you, and tell everyone else about you.

Do both, and not only do you get the visibility, you get amplified.

Toodles,
Natasha

P.S. Every one of those six connections traces back to a real relationship, not a viral post. That's the entire system I teach inside the REALationship Growth Method. If you're tired of ‘showing’ up and yet nothing to show for it, reply "LFG" and I'll tell you more. Cohort 6 is filling up!

Hi Reader! Fair warning, this has a LOT. But my August cohort (my 6th!) kicks off next week. Doors close on Friday. And I've got 2 spots left. So if you've been thinking about joining, this is for you. I want to take the guesswork out and give you the inside scoop. Why am I doing this? Welp, I'm as big a skeptic as they get. It took me 2 YEARS to hire the coach I work with now. 2 years of watching, reading his content, (even half-ass joined his community for a few months), deciding whether to...

Hi Reader, Most of y’all know me as the LinkedIn lady. So it might be strange to hear that I don't typically convert clients on LinkedIn. (Although, that should track, since my whole thing has always been that I'm on LinkedIn to get off LinkedIn (as are my cohort members, check this out!)) The platform starts the relationship. Something else closes it. I want to talk about that something else, because there's a version of it I think a lot of you are avoiding. Last week I taught an in person...

Hi Reader, Has anyone ever told you that your energy is contagious? Your passion is magnetic? That people just feel your vibe when you walk in? Think about that for a second. Because if that's true about you in person... Now go look at your LinkedIn profile. Is it doing the same thing? When you walk into a networking event, or honestly any room, you can read it. You can feel people's energy. You can spot your people almost instantly, just by their vibe. That's because real life is...
