Hi Reader, Liz shared something that gave me tapping toes (you know…of excitement??). She recently had her BIGGEST month she's ever had in her business. 🥳 When Liz joined my cohort, her LinkedIn didn't reflect her at all. She had a stock photo of a person writing, a couple of books she'd worked on 8 years ago, and a lot of outdated info. She'd connect with people she met, and that was about the extent of it. Which is wild, because Liz does really incredible work with incredible people (she's the founder of Green Heart Living Press, a trauma-informed publishing house for coaches, therapists, and heart-led world changers that has helped over 175 people become published authors!) But...very little of that was showing up on her profile. So we started with the foundation: - got clarity on her vision and mission. - went through every role in her experience section and wrote how it connects to the work she does now, so her story reads as one clear path instead of a pile of disconnected jobs. - made it easy for people to reach her. - we set up her own Claude project that knows her and her business, in a way she hadn't before. Then she started putting herself out there. She launched a LinkedIn newsletter, The Abundant Author®, sharing content from her podcast. She started meeting people through the RGM community and booking intro calls. The biggest change she noticed was her language. When she talks to potential clients and referral partners now, it lands differently, and she says she didn't have that before. And few months later, she had her biggest month in business! (Watch full story here) She also said she came in expecting the cohort to be "Serious LinkedIn" and was surprised to find a group of wonderful women here to also build relationships (she even signed an author client with one of the members!) And shameless plug…she also shared how she'd love for all of her authors to work with me. Coming from someone who knows how hard it is to get a book (and the person behind it) seen, that means everything to me! If you've written a book, built something, or done impressive work that your LinkedIn doesn't show yet, that's usually the first place we start. I've got ONE spot left for my final cohort of the year (even though January is already filling up! 🤓). You in ?? Reply "LFG" Toodles, PS Liz said working with me is "100% worth it" if you're growing a business and trying to tell your story", and that it would be silly not to....so, what say you? Final spot has your name on it?? |

Hey Reader, This is late . Usually my newsletter hits your inbox first thing yesterday morning. I even have a few of these written and sitting in the bank, so it wasn't a content problem...it was a life problem. I'm flying to Toronto today for a speaking engagement and found out on Tuesday that my passport expired. So I've spent the last 48 hours frantically sorting that out instead of doing the things I normally do. I didn't post Tuesday either, haven't posted today. And YET I still signed a...
Hi Reader, Today is my 3-year business anniversary*! And last week I was about to blow the whole thing up. 👀 Not entirely! But closer than I'd like to admit, and am still working through that as I type this. But let me rewind: (*technically it's 3 years since I signed my first client, launched my biz 3 months AFTER. See todays post for more info on that!) WHERE I'VE BEEN 3 years of building the plane while flying it. It started with 1:1 clients and B2B teams. Then about a year ago I launched...
Hi Reader! Today at 12pm ET / 9am PT I'm running a live workshop: 3 Things I'm Prioritizing on LinkedIn as We Close Out 2026! If you can't make it live, register anyway and I'll send you the replay. You'll have 24 hours with it. [REGISTER LINK] Now, let me tell you why I'm doing this at all. I'm a terrible hard sell. I don't know how to do it and I gave up trying to learn it (goes against everything in my body). I've been pressure-sold before and I hated the way it made me feel. So you'll...
