What's holding you back on LinkedIn?

Hi Reader!

It's that weird week between Christmas and New Year.

That awkward time where no one knows what day it is or what you should be doing.

Our matching family PJs just arrived yesterday. (Yep, dropped the ball on that one). But I'm wearing them now because why not.🙃

I'm taking a much-needed break this week, so I'm cheating a little...instead of my usual newsletter, I want to flip it.

I'm guessing LinkedIn is a thorn in your 2026 side

What areas are you struggling with?

A. Staring at a blinking cursor and not sure what to write about?
B. Looking at analytics and not sure what's actually meaningful?
C. Seeing low numbers and wondering what you're doing wrong?
D. How to 'add stories' to your posts?
E. Not sure how to start conversations in DMs
F. People like posts but never convert to clients
G. Afraid of being "too salesy" vs. "not selling enough"

(The list goes on...)

Whatever is holding you back and pinching that side of yours - I'd love to hear about it.

Reply to this email and tell me.

My guess? If you're struggling with something on LinkedIn, so are many others reading this newsletter.

For me? I'm working on sharing more personal stories

Like the time the president of Nokia asked for my resume.

Or the cease and desist I got from a former employer.

Stories I've been wanting to share but not feeling confident about.

I'm a private person. (I know, you wouldn't guess that now - I don't even use social media in my personal life!)

So being this open? It's honestly just hard and uncomfortable.

I overthink it. I worry about judgment. I worry it's "too personal."

But here's the thing: My top-performing posts and newsletters? The ones that lead to the best conversations and signed clients?

→ The personal ones. (almost strange how that works, isn’t it?!)

(I've got a question I ask myself before I share any personal post now, and it's been serving me well. If that's an area you're struggling with, let me know - I'll share it in a newsletter.)

Anywhos, I want y'all to feel confident taking on LinkedIn this year. 🙌 I know it can be a frustrating platform - but there is SO much opportunity on it, if you haven't discovered that yet, I'm determined to change that.

Hope you had the best holidays so far and that your end of 2025 is restful and laugh-filled.

See you on the flip side!
Natasha

P.S. Seriously, hit reply. I read every single one. Let's figure this out together.

P.S.2. Just a few spots left in my next cohort! Want deets? Respond "LFG" and I'll share!

I'm ending it with everything I wanted - and I almost missed it. Hi Reader, Here's my year in review + and where I'm heading in 2026: January My son had just spent 4 weeks in the NICU. We were days away from moving across the country. I had 2 clients, $38k in credit card debt, hospital bills piling up, and a fractured foot because why not. When we looked at childcare costs vs. what my husband could make, the math didn't math. So we bet everything on my business. He became a stay-at-home dad...

Hey Reader, 3 clients last week were making the same mistake. 3! One is struggling to get into this top defense company even though they've already worked with them... I asked who he’s reached out to of the 43 people he's connected to at that company. His answer? “No one.” One was feeling good about where her content was. She's new to LinkedIn so this has been a process, but she's now having her team post the content (which is totally ok! If you have the support, amazing!) but that meant...

(Both. But for different reasons) Hi Reader! You asked, I'm answering! Following up on last week’s newsletter about...newsletters: "Should I start a LinkedIn newsletter or an email newsletter?" And my answer is: Both. But not because they're interchangeable. They serve completely different purposes. And once you understand the difference, it’ll click. LinkedIn Newsletter = Prospecting Tool What most people don't realize: 67% of LinkedIn users log in weekly but never like, comment, or engage...
