How to stand out on LinkedIn in 2026

Hey Reader,

AI killed the generic "5 Steps to do X" posts.

Everyone can write professional content now. Which means no one stands out with it.

So as I've been thinking about scaling with my new group program, I've been asking myself:

How do I stand out from everyone else who does what I do?

The answer? Human-first storytelling.

Not "10x your sales" posts. Not "this mindset changes the game."

Actual stories. Relatable. Messy. Human.

Last week, I shared a post about my 1-year-old's path of destruction in my kitchen.

Literally messy. Super relatable. Super random.

11 profile views.

That's 11 new people I can now say hello to.

My year-end reflection post/newsletter I shared before the break?

103 profile views!

That's 103 people who are now have my attention. 103 people I can reach out to.

Most people on LinkedIn focus on professional content.

But they skip the entry point: personal storytelling.

Because it's scary. Because "does this belong on LinkedIn?" Because what will people think?

I get it. I'm a private person. (y’all know more about me than people who actually know me! Lmao).

But here's what I know: My most personal posts consistently drive the most profile views.

The kitchen mess. The year-end reflection. Entrepreneurship + motherhood co-existing.

The posts I almost didn't share - those are the ones that brought new people into my radar.

I know, I know… "LinkedIn is a professional platform."

And yes, we've all seen the cringe. The CEO crying selfies. The "my dog taught me about leadership" posts. “What proposing to my girlfriend taught me about B2B sales…”

There's a line. You can cross it.

But you’re likely not anywhere near that line.

You're hiding behind perfectly polished professional content that sounds like everyone else.

And you're wondering why no one's responding.

Want to stand out in 2026?

If you want to bring new people into your world, you need a mix of both.

Not just professional content. That's table stakes now.

You need the personal storytelling that makes people curious enough to check you out.

Then your profile needs to convert that curiosity.

Then your professional content proves you can deliver.

Then you initiate conversations with all those people who raised their hand.

That's the system.

Don’t hide behind the "safe" content.

Without the personal? You're just another expert in a “sea of AI-generated sameness.”

Until next time,
Natasha

Hey Reader, I was recently a guest on The Business Owner’s Journey podcast with Nick Berry. And I’m still pinching myself a little because this isn’t just any podcast. Nick has interviewed Jason Feifer (Editor-in-Chief of Entrepreneur Magazine), Dr. Benjamin Hardy (10x Is Easier Than 2x), and other heavy hitters in the business world. His show is all about shortening the learning curve for business owners - getting experienced entrepreneurs to pull back the curtain and share real lessons....

Hey Reader, Question for you: if you don't tell people how to work with you, how will they know how to work with you? Really obvious question, I know, but I find myself saying it to people all the time.I get it - we're not trying to be salesy on LinkedIn. And don’t get me wrong, it's totally okay to share promotional posts every so often. You should! The thing about LinkedIn…we don't want to FEEL like we're being sold to. But, I’m still selling in just about every post. The loophole? The P.S....

Hi Reader, A top creator asked me something interesting at the end of last year. "Are you feeling the algorithm change? I used to get 30,000 impressions. Now I'm getting a fraction of that." Honestly? I hadn't noticed. Not because my reach is magical. I've never gone viral. Never had those big numbers. But my business is better than it's ever been. But There Was a Change in the Algorithm: LinkedIn quietly rolled out something called 360Brew. It's one massive AI model that replaced thousands...
