Hey Reader, Most of my clients are skeptical when we start working together. Last week I had three calls where I could literally see their eyes going back and forth like, “Yeah right, this lady is nuts.” I get it. LinkedIn feels foreign. Different from every other platform. And you’ve probably tried it before without seeing results. So let me address the 4 biggest objections I hear: 1. “I don’t have time to post every day” You don’t need to. My construction client posts 1-2 times per week. That’s it. And he just got his first inbound after only a few posts. PLUS - unlike Meta where posts die after 24 hours, on LinkedIn, they can last for weeks (if it’s quality content). You don’t need to be a content machine. 2. “I hate social media” Fair. One of my clients told me straight up: “I whined and bitched a lot” when we started. Now? She’s having “SO MUCH FUN reconnecting with old friends” and seeing what happens when you stop ignoring your LinkedIn and start adding people intentionally. LinkedIn isn’t Instagram. It’s not TikTok. It’s not endless scrolling. It’s relationship-building in a professional context. 3. “LinkedIn doesn’t work for my industry” That same construction client wasn’t sure either. Construction! Not exactly the industry you’d expect to crush it on LinkedIn. But with the right system? It’s working. He’s becoming “the guy to talk to” in his space. And he’s just getting started. 4. “I don’t think I’ll actually get business from it” Another client was skeptical that people actually read profiles. Then she booked a call with someone who specifically mentioned reading her experience section. People are paying attention more than you think. So what’s “the right system”? I'm calling it "The 3 P's" 1. Optimize Your Profile When people check you out (and they will), you want them to immediately understand if you’re the right fit. 2. Create Quality Posts Consistently This keeps you visible and top of mind. 3. Engage With The Right People This is how you get on people’s radar and deepen connections. That’s it. No hacks. No gaming the algorithm. No posting 7x days a week. Just a system that works - regardless of your industry, how much time you have, or how much you hate social media. Your skepticism is valid It’s not intuitive. The “rules” aren’t clear. But, with the right approach, LinkedIn works. Even if you’re skeptical. You just need the right system. Toodles! P.S. If you’re feeling skeptical but curious, let’s talk. I’ll show you exactly how this could work for your specific situation. No pressure. Just a conversation. |

Hey Reader, I was recently a guest on The Business Owner’s Journey podcast with Nick Berry. And I’m still pinching myself a little because this isn’t just any podcast. Nick has interviewed Jason Feifer (Editor-in-Chief of Entrepreneur Magazine), Dr. Benjamin Hardy (10x Is Easier Than 2x), and other heavy hitters in the business world. His show is all about shortening the learning curve for business owners - getting experienced entrepreneurs to pull back the curtain and share real lessons....
Hey Reader, Question for you: if you don't tell people how to work with you, how will they know how to work with you? Really obvious question, I know, but I find myself saying it to people all the time.I get it - we're not trying to be salesy on LinkedIn. And don’t get me wrong, it's totally okay to share promotional posts every so often. You should! The thing about LinkedIn…we don't want to FEEL like we're being sold to. But, I’m still selling in just about every post. The loophole? The P.S....
Hi Reader, A top creator asked me something interesting at the end of last year. "Are you feeling the algorithm change? I used to get 30,000 impressions. Now I'm getting a fraction of that." Honestly? I hadn't noticed. Not because my reach is magical. I've never gone viral. Never had those big numbers. But my business is better than it's ever been. But There Was a Change in the Algorithm: LinkedIn quietly rolled out something called 360Brew. It's one massive AI model that replaced thousands...
