Hi Reader, I find myself saying this daily: if you think it, you can build it. And I'm literally mind-blown by how true that actually is. For example: I built an app. An actual app. It helps my clients update their profiles: headline, banner, about section, and experience section. And it's all my IP. Years of how I've done profile messaging for clients, the patterns I've noticed, the frameworks I've refined. It started as a prompt. Then I turned it into a Claude Artifact (which didn't work). So I said screw it, I'll build an actual app. I worked with Claude on the code, dropped it into Replit, and now I have this tool that I use to scale my coaching. The quality is as good as if I was doing it manually (again, because it's all my IP!). And it's cut my time by... I don't even know…95%?! (Oh, and if you want to check it out, I even made a version available to you). That's where we are right now. Which is WILD. I'll admit, it's a little scary how fast everything is moving. There's a new tool, feature, update everyday. I have FOMO that I don't have a whole team of AI agents running my business behind the scenes (yet). But what just hit me: most people are still using AI to respond to emails and figure out what to cook with leftovers in their fridge. If you're here, reading this, thinking about how to leverage AI to amplify your knowledge, your thought leadership, your point of view? You're already ahead. So here's something I've been challenging my clients to think about: What's the first step of how you work with people? What's something you explain over and over again? What piece of your expertise could you turn into something tangible that people can experience before they ever work with you? We're in a trust recession right now. Everyone's skeptical people are being burned left and right (this morning alone I saw two posts about someone being burned out of $21k and another for $5k!). So the more you can create something of real value that shows, "Hey, I'm legit, I know my stuff, and here's proof," the more you're going to stand out. That's what a good lead magnet does. You're giving people a taste of how you think, how you work, and what it's like to be in your world. What would be a good entry point into your orbit? And then think about how you could build it. Because, again, "If you think it, you can build it." (Ooh just got goosebumps typing that!) Now we have the tools to make it happen. What an exciting time to be alive. Toodles, PS. This newsletter was inspired by the messages I keep getting about the app. Like these below. (Literally - I used this at an event last weekend, I put it on my business card, 25 people opted in!!) |
Struggling on LinkedIn? I've got the REAL LinkedIn Strategy to help you get more visible and win more sales.
(here's how) Hi Reader, I went into my vacation last week fully expecting a small 5th cohort in my program. And I was totally okay with it. I’ve been going hard with all these cohorts, a launch every other month. But I’d booked a week-long vacation with my family, the first time taking off more than a day ever! I wanted to actually be present with my family, sit on the beach, and not spend the whole trip stressing about filling spots. A smaller group felt like a fair trade for a real...
(how to not do the same) Hi Reader, I've been so traumatized by being pressure-sold that I forgot to sell when people actually wanted me to. Last week I hosted my first ever open office hours. I opened it up to y’all - it was awesome. New faces, familiar faces, and even a handful of current clients! Really good questions the whole way through. It was everything I hoped it would be. And then, with about a minute left on the clock, someone asked, "So….can you tell us how it works to work with...
Hi Reader, My next cohort kicks off June 23rd, and there’s one spot left! Instead of ME telling you why you should take it, I’ll let three women who’ve been through it do the talking: 1. AMELIE → Her very first post in the program landed her a client. That fast. → Made her entire investment back in the first two months. → Went from fearing LinkedIn to actually being excited to show up. In her words: “Not only did I get my money back from clients, but I’ve now learned a skill that’s going to...
